BlueBay Hotels and World2Meet sign a strategic alliance for the management of a portfolio of more than 12,000 beds in Spain, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic

The agreement is formalized through O7 Hotels, World2Meet’s
management firm. The start of this alliance will begin on January 1st, 2024, for a 15-year period.

BlueBay Hotels launches its “Living Lab Hotel” to boost the tourism innovation process in the Canary Islands

The goal is that BlueBay Hotels, together wuith a group of hotel chains from the Canaries (Grupo Satocan, HD Hotels and Dunas Hoteles), work on a Tourism Innovation Model (MITC) for the Canary Islands based on collaboration between tourism companies, entrepreneurs and ITC companies.The initiative is backed by the Instituto Tecnológico de Canarias (ITC) and the Gran Canaria Tourism Board.

BlueBay Hotels strengthens its presence in Spain with a new hotel in Majorca

In 2017, the company acquired 11 new hotels, entered in Turkey and Bolivia and allocated €30 M to capital investment. BlueBay Hotels currently has 52 hotels around the world, 23 of them are in Spain. The formal act of twinning the Sinai Peninsula (Egypt) with the municipality of Estepona was held at the end of the Gala event. The award for the “2017 Latin America Tourism Personality” was presented to Carlos Joaquín González, Governor of Quintana Roo (Mexico). BlueBay Hotels Announces the Opening of Two New Hotels in Turkey

Ataturk Palace by Blue Diamond (*****) and BlueBay Grand Çelik Palace (*****) mark the entry of BlueBay Hotels into this market and add 164 rooms and suites, accommodating up to 328 guests, to the group’s total guest capacity.“Our entry into Turkey reinforces our commitment to the MENA region, where we plan to have 11 hotels by the end of this year”, explains Jamal Satli, President of BlueBay Hotels.During 2017, BlueBay Hotels has added a further 13 hotels to the group in Spain, Latin America and various Middle Eastern and African countries.

BlueBay Hotels recorded 89.2% of average occupancy between June and September, 16 points above national average

The average stay in this period reaches 6.52 days, which represents an increase of approximately 32% in comparison with the previous year and nearly 30 points above the industry average. In 2017, BlueBay Hotels has consolidated two key destinations: The Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands where the average occupancy between June and September reached 95.65% and 92.24% respectively.
