Grupo BlueBay has appointed Santiago Ortiz as manager of the hotel Donaire BelleVue Sunbeach, a facility that the chain has in Varadero.
The new manager was born in Torremolinos, Malaga, and completed his undergraduate studies in Hotel Management at the "Les Roches" school in Switzerland, and the Hotel School of Malaga La Cónsula.
He has extensive professional experience, having developed his career in the hotel world working for chains like Riu, Sol Meliá and Hilton, in positions of responsibility. Before joining Grupo BlueBay, he worked as a manager at the Holiday Beach Club in Holiday World Hotels (Peñarroya Group), Benalmadena, Malaga and taught Hotel Management at the same hotel school he studied at, La Cónsula.
He is now taking on the management of this facility, joining the team of professionals at Grupo BlueBay, with the objective to give the best service to its customers. Ortiz will try to develop a customer satisfaction – oriented direction and thus, increase the number of returning clients. His other objectives include maintaining the quality standards of the chain, creating an efficient energy policy, increase cost control and create a young, dynamic and close management.
