Museum of Contemporary Art (MUAC)<\/p>\n
This museum is a fundamental part of the UNAM Cultural Centre. You\u2019ll find works on display dating back to 1952 by all those artists who were in Mexico and worked towards expanding their artistic parallels. MUAC has had some incredible temporary exhibitions over the years from both national and international artists, fulfilling its objective to promote contemporary art.<\/p>\n
Monument to the Mexican Revolution<\/p>\n
The monument was designed by Carlos Obreg\u00f3n Santacilia to commemorate the Mexican Revolution. It\u2019s located in the Tabacalera colony, close to the historic centre of Mexico City, and besides admiring it from outside, you can also go up to the observation deck and visit the inside, where besides the views you can also appreciate the diversity of artistic works.<\/p>\n
National Museum of Anthropology<\/p>\n
This museum was commissioned by the President Adolfo L\u00f3pez Mateos and opened in 1964 to preserve the archaeological legacy of Mesoamerican civilisations. The museum is well worth a visit to discover all the wonders it houses and the history it preserves.<\/p>\n
The Blue House<\/p>\n
This beautiful house in the Coyoac\u00e1n colony is one of the city\u2019s most popular museums. Once inside, you can imagine the life of one of the most famous women in the history of Mexico – Frida Kahlo and discover more about her personal and professional life.<\/p>\n
