It was C\u00e9sar Manrique who had the vision to transform what was the collapsed roof of a volcanic tube with lava flowing from the Volc\u00e1n de La Corona on the north of the island into a unique place in the world. His brilliant mind designed what we know today as Jameos del Agua in Lanzarote. On every corner, from the entrance covered by large green ferns where small birds sing, to its original, auditorium unique in the world for its geological and acoustic characteristics. Los Jameos del Agua also deserves a special mention for being the home to the small crabs and cultural activities. Together with the cave that\u2019s home to the \u2018Jamelitos\u2019 is a garden filled with palm trees with a man-made lake and a museum devoted to volcanos with several interactive activities. The auditorium built inside the volcanic cave also hosts concerts and events in this unique setting.<\/p>\n
