Majorelle Gardens<\/b> are very popular in Marrakech<\/b>, located northeast at La Medina<\/b>, first open to public in 1947.<\/b> French artist Jacques Majorelle<\/b> created these gardens in 1925<\/b> to be inspired on. Since 1980<\/b>, Yves Saint Laurent<\/b> owns the gardens. There\u2019s a small Islamic Art Museum inside.<\/p>\n

Majorelle offers a wide range of plants: cactus, bamboo, garden and water plants, even palms<\/b>, are some of the diversity we can find here.<\/p>\n

Compared to popular Menara Gardens<\/b>, is very common to find out that Majorelle<\/b> are more beautiful as well as we can enjoy a bigger shadow and fresh, due to its leafy trees.<\/b> During warm days, these gardens become paradise.<\/b><\/p>\n

Majorelle gardens <\/b>can be visited from June to September, from 8am to 6pm. <\/b>The rest of the year, from 8am to 5.30pm. Entry<\/b> costs up to 50 dirhams<\/b> and the Islamic art museum, 25 dirhams.<\/b><\/p>\n

To reach the gardens, we can go by taxi<\/b> from Jamaa el Fna square<\/b>, just for 20 dirhams. Besides, within 1,5 km area, we have Marrakech new city, Gueliz; Medersa Ben Youseff, Marrakech Museum or Koutobia mosque.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
