The Global Village, the largest family destination and outdoors theme park at the Gulf region opens to start a new 2014-2015 season, which will last until April 11th<\/sup> next year.<\/p>\n The theme park has representation from 70 countries on five continents<\/b>, five more than last year. In total over there will be 11,000 events<\/b> that draw a cultural mix of great richness and variety.<\/p>\n One of the most important areas is the Pavilion of Spain<\/b>, offering new products and emotions and this year is marked by the 400th anniversary of the full publication of ‘Don Quixote’.<\/b> The “ingenious gentleman” will be represented from the entrance of the pavilion, composed of several windmills against which Don Quixote and his squire, Sancho Panza mythical fought in Castile.<\/p>\n This season, Global Village has the American Pavilion as news<\/b>, which includes North and South America, <\/b>with representation from Canada, USA, Brazil and Argentina, among others.<\/p>\n From its humble beginnings in1996, when it was no more than a small market located on the banks of Dubai Creek where small stalls selling products from different countries, the Dubai Global Village has become a huge massive attraction. The Dubai Global Village is now the main attraction of Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF). Huge pavilions are concentrated in the center of Dubai Global Village, bringing the different cultures of the world through the sale of local food, products and crafts.
