The Holy Week could be defined as an annual celebration where Christians around the world commemorate the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. However, not in all countries considered Christian it is celebrated with the same intensity.<\/p>\n

In Malaga, there are 39 brotherhoods, all of great uniqueness. The Holy Monday, El Cautivo with the following over 30,000 devotees. On Holy Tuesday, Virgen de las Penas presents a new blanket of flowers each year and Virgen del Roc\u00edo is a remarkable fervor symbol. On Holy Wednesday, a prisoner is released and one of the most moving pictures can be seen when the figure of Jesus gives his blessing to the convict. Holy Thursday is the procession of the Legion, accompanying the Christ of Mena in a military parade and La Esperanza (Hope) which makes its passage on a carpet of rosemary. The Good Friday is the busiest day, when the Tomb and the Virgen de la Soledad impose silence among all Malaga.<\/p>\n

But there are others who do not share this religious tradition, for whom the Holy Week is a week of vacation and relaxation, one of those opportunities to rest and break the routine that present themselves throughout the year.
